For that particular theme, I am having great difficulty trying to find any documentation on it, however, if you are referring to a method how to automate the sliding bar (as in, it slides every few seconds), from my understanding, as long as you have a custom field set for each post that you would like to feature using the text "featured", then that should automatically feature each of those posts automatically. If this doesnt work, then this can be a conflict with another plugin, which is known to happen with this theme from time to time. I will install this theme again sometime in the next day or so and have a look at what settings may also influence this problem.
